On this day 7 years ago I married my soul mate, best friend, love of my life.
On this day my life changed in a wonderful way I could never imagine.

Fun Stuff

This past weekend was the Race for the Cure . It's one of my favorite event's in Columbus. Every year for the past 8 or so year's I've ran in it and this year was no different. I remember in the first few year's it was held at The Ohio State University campus and there were just a few thousand people to participate and it didn't seem crazy, overly crowded. Now it's held in the downtown and area there were over 45,000 people there!!

Talk about crazy! It's such an inspiration just being there! All of the breast cancer survivors and tons of people running 'in celebration of' and 'in memory of'... definitely pulls at the heart strings. I love doing it and hope to continue for many years to come!

So I'm kind of excited that I just won these shoes from a fellow blogger. There's a cute little blog I follow called When Tara Met Blog. It's so fun! She randomly has these contest give aways every now and then so I put my name in this past time and voila!

I've never owned a pair of Keds so I'm excited to get them. Can't beat free shoes!!!! :)

In other fun news, we're going to be an aunt and uncle again!! Matt's brother Ben and his wife Tanya are having a baby!!! AHHH! So exciting, I can't believe it! She is due October 16th and they're not finding out if it's a boy or a girl. I love surprises! We're so happy for them and can't wait to meet our new little niece or nephew!! Congratulations Ben and Tanya!

Last night we went to Benny's pizza in Marysville. Not usually something to brag about but they do have the best pizza, ever. But last night was even more special because WNCI and Carolina Liar were there! You may remember me talk about Carolina Liar a few months back because I heard their music on CD101 and instantly loved them. I quickly bought their CD and discovered all of their songs are awesome! So my friend Kathy happened to hear on the radio that they were going to be at Benny's (of all places) on Friday night. Of course I was going to be there!! I talked some other friends into coming along. :) So not only was my favorite band playing but we were right next to the stage and they were playing acoustic. Seriously, could it get any better?! Only two of the band members played and they actually only sang 4 songs (I have no idea why... probably because it was a free show) but I didn't care. Thankfully Nikki brought her camera and I was able to snap a few pic's up close.

Hopefully Nikki will hook me up with the rest of her pictures :) 

After they got off stage I was just too pumped not to meet my favorite band. When will I ever get a chance to do this again?! So I quickly got the nerve to go over to them and say hi and tell them that I LOVE their music and I'm such a big fan. I asked for a picture and got one taken with the guitarist... I don't have that one yet but like I said, hopefully soon! So fast forward, the band is still hanging out and I really want a picture with both of them but feel silly asking for yet another picture. So Mike, Nikki's husband, walks over and just asks if they would take another picture....

Seriously, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much! 

They were SO incredibly nice!!!! I'm on cloud 9! 

I know I know, I'm totally geekin' but it made my week!!! :) SO SO much fun and I'm so glad we went!!!! If you don't know who they are go out and buy Carolina Liar's CD! It's so awesome! What a great great night!!!!

Oh and It's also my wonderful husband's birthday today!!!!

It's Britney...

Call me crazy but I love Britney Spears! So you can imagine how excited I was to go to her concert on Thursday night. Oh my God it was AWESOME! Myself, along with some of my other fanatic girlfriends, got together before the concert to make special 'Britney' shirts... just to show our true Britney spirit. haha. They turned out awesome!

So the concert was an absolute blast. Our seats ROCKED. The Pussycat Dolls opened and they did a phenomenal job! Those girls can sing!

 

During the intermission before Britney came on stage they had a ton of circus acts... basically going of her latest album theme - Circus. It was pretty freaking cool, it felt like getting 3 shows in one! 

So then finally the moment we'd all been waiting for.... here's Britney!
